Vanessa Niekamp said that when she was asked to run a child-support check on Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher (JOE THE PLUMBER) on Oct. 16, she thought it routine. A supervisor told her the man had contacted the state agency about his case.

Niekamp didn’t know she just had checked on “Joe the Plumber,” who was elevated the night before to presidential politics prominence as Republican John McCain’s example in a debate of an average American.

The senior manager would not learn about “Joe” for another week, when she said her boss informed her and directed her to write an e-mail stating her computer check was a legitimate inquiry.

The reason Niekamp said she was given for checking if there was a child-support case on Wurzelbacher does not match the reason given by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

Director Helen Jones-Kelley said her agency checks people who are “thrust into the public spotlight,” amid suggestions they may have come into money, to see if they owe support or are receiving undeserved public assistance.

Niekamp told The Dispatch she is unfamiliar with the practice of checking on the newly famous. “I’ve never done that before, I don’t know of anybody in my office who does that and I don’t remember anyone ever doing that,” she said today.

Reports that Pro-McCain Press Kicked Off Obama Plane

The pattern grows Report: Journalists From Three Newspapers Booted From Obama’s Plane No dissent will be tolerated.
Journalists from three major newspapers that endorsed John McCain have reportedly been booted from Barack Obama’s campaign plane for the final leg of the presidential race.

The Washington Times reported Friday that it was notified of the Obama campaign’s decision Thursday evening — even though the paper has covered Obama from the start.

Executive Editor John Solomon told FOXNews.com that the Obama campaign said it didn’t have enough seats on the plane, but “I don’t think the explanation makes sense to us.”

“We’ve been traveling since 2007 with him. … We’re a relevant newspaper — every day we break news,” Solomon said. “And to suddenly be kicked off the plane for people who haven’t covered it as aggressively or thoroughly as we are … it sort of feels unfair.”

...The New York Post and Dallas Morning News also have been kicked off Obama’s plane, according to the Web site The Drudge Report. It said the three reporters were told to find alternative transportation by Sunday so that the plane could accommodate “network bigwigs” and reporters from two black magazines, Essence and Jet…

If true, this story is very unsettling.

So it is ok to withhold a tape of a public function, attended by hundreds of people because you promised your source you would not release the tape. I can understand not revealing the source, but cannot extend that to the tape. The Story: An intrepid researcher has discovered more than 200 tax liens totaling more than $3.7 million have been filed by the government against the (ACORN) Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now’s for unpaid taxes since the late eighties. http://tinyurl.com/6ecav4

...The conservative-leaning Capital Research Center’s Matthew Vadum found a staggering number of liens listed against ACORN’s national headquarters at 1024 Elysian Fields Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana while conducting an exhaustive investigation of ACORN's history and current activities.

“I took that address and plugged it into Nexis and did a public records search for tax liens,” Vadum said. “At least 230 tax liens corresponded to ACORN’s address and they were all from ACORN’s shadowy network of affiliates.”

The liens filed against ACORN and their associated groups come from the Internal Revenue Service and government officials in fifteen different states.

75 of the 230 tax liens appear to have been “released,” meaning the full debt was paid or a negotiated payment was made for the debt. The rest are outstanding.

The "shadowy network" Vadum mentioned are the hundreds of ACORN offshoots housed at ACORN's official 1024 Elysian Fields Avenue address, such as Project Vote, ACORN Institute Inc., ACORN Housing Inc. Inc and Wal-Mart Alliance for Reform Now (WARN). One of those organizations is Citizens Consulting, Inc, which was paid nearly $800,000 by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s campaign to conduct get-out-the-vote activities during the Democratic primary.

While CSI raked in cash from the Obama campaign the IRS was preparing nearly a million in liens against ACORN. The IRS filed a lien on ACORN for $306,407 on March 6, 2008. A different lien was filed for $547,312 against ACORN on March 10, 2008 and another was filed on March 14 for $132,997.

Minority Leader Rep. John Boehner (R.-Ohio)and other Republicans have called on Congress to strip ACORN of their federal funding, which has received at least $31 million in various grants since 1998, because of ACORN's role in rampant vote registration fraud across the nation, but Democrats have not expressed any interest in doing this.

“ACORN is a relentless crusader for social programs and government wealth redistribution schemes and the fact they can’t be bothered to pay taxes speaks volumes about the integrity of the organization,” Vadum said.

More: In 1995, ACORN sued the state of California seeking an exemption from the law that requires that it pay its own employees a minimum wage. ACORN, which argued that keeping its employees in poverty helps to boost their zeal to help the poor.

link WND also found on microfilm in the Honolulu downtown public library a notice published under the "Births, Marriages, Deaths" section of the Honolulu Sunday Advertiser for August 13, 1961, on page B-6, noting: "Mr. and Mrs. Barack II Obama. 6085 Kalanianaole-Hwy, son, Aug. 4."

In searching through the birth notices of the Honolulu Advertiser for 1961, WND found many birth notices were published between one and two weeks after the date of birth listed.

The notice in the Honolulu Advertiser does not list the hospital where the Obama son was born or the doctor who delivered the baby.

In a startling development, Obama's Kenyan grandmother has reportedly alleged she witnessed Obama's birth at the Coast Provincial Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya....

...In Kenya, WND was told by government authorities that all documents concerning Obama were under seal until after the U.S. presidential election on November 4.

The Obama campaign website entitled "Fight the Smears" posts a state of Hawaii "Certificate of Live Birth" which is obviously not the original birth certificate generated by the hospital where Obama reportedly was born.

"Fight the Smears" declares, "The truth is, Barack Obama was born in the state of Hawaii in 1961, a native citizen of the United States of America."

Although the Obama campaign could immediately put an end to all the challenges by simply producing the candidate's original birth certificate, it has not done so. And the "Fight the Smears" website offers no explanation as to why Obama has refused to request, and make public, an original hospital-generated birth certificate which the Hawaii Department of Health may possess.

The LA Times is sitting on a story about Obama at a 2003 Chicago event honoring Palestinian Rashid Khalidi, at which Obama was present while rampant anti-Semetic, anti-Israel hate was spewed.

The LA Times shut the story down and refused to release the tape, because it would obviously hurt Obama with Jewish voters and all Americans who understand the importance of our historic and strategic friendship with Israel.

Voters know that Obama sat in a church pew at Trinity United Church of Christ for twenty years listening to Reverend Wright spew racial hatred. Voters know that Obama is a friend and associate of terrorist William Ayers. Voters know Obama started his political career as a close associate of Tony Rezco who is currently being indicted in Chicago. Voters know that Obama won his first campaign for the Illinois State Senate by using old style Chicago politics to eliminate everyone else on the ballot during the Democratic Primary. Voters know Obama campaigned in Kenya with Odinga who after he lost the election burned Christian villages and killed hundreds of innocent Kenyans. Voters know that Obama ran unopposed for the U.S. Senate after embarrassing his opponent to withdraw by opening a sealed divorce file. Voters know that Obama is tightly associated with ACORN and paid them over $800,000 in the primaries to perpetrate extensive voter fraud during the primaries.

They know it. But they don't SEE it. Why? Is it an ingrained biological response.

...Larry Grathwohl, an FBI mole within the Weathermen, connected Ayers to the planning — and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, to the execution— of a police station bombing in San Francisco in February 1970 that killed one officer and injured two others.

Grathwohl testified that Ayers had discussed the deadly incident after the fact. The revelation came as Ayers was talking about the organizational difficulties in running a terrorist cell:

[H]e cited as one of the real problems that someone like Bernardine Dohrn had to plan, develop, and carry out the bombing of the police station in San Francisco, and he specifically named her as the person that committed that act. . . . He said that the bomb was placed on the window ledge and he described the kind of bomb that was used to the extent of saying what kind of shrapnel was used in it. . . . [I]f he wasn’t there to see it, somebody who was there told him about it, because he stated it very emphatically.

Grathwohl also testified about an unsuccessful Weatherman bombing in Detroit, which he said Ayers had planned to be executed when the maximum number of people would be present:

The only time that I was ever instructed or we were ever instructed to place a bomb in a building at a time when there would be people in it was during the planning of the bombing at the Detroit Police Officers’ Association building and the 13th precinct in Detroit, Mich., at which time Bill said that we should plan our bombing to coincide with the time when there would be the most people in those buildings.

Grathwohl tipped off police to this latter plot, and they cleared the area. When they finally found the Detroit bomb, it was unexploded. It contained 13 sticks of dynamite with an M-80 firecracker to detonate them, along with a burnt-out cigarette.

“The only thing Bill didn’t take into consideration in making his bomb,” Grathwohl testified, “was the fact that these wicks, those fuses on those firecrackers are waterproof with heavy paraffin, and a cigarette burning by itself does not always have enough heat to melt that paraffin and light the powder. And I didn’t volunteer any information to the contrary.” Grathwohl did not know who had actually planted the bomb.

Government computers used to find information on Joe the Plumber (from the Columbus Dispatch)

State and local officials are investigating if state and law-enforcement computer systems were illegally accessed when they were tapped for personal information about “Joe the Plumber.”

Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher became part of the national political lexicon Oct. 15 when Republican presidential candidate John McCain mentioned him frequently during his final debate with Democrat Barack Obama.

The 34-year-old from the Toledo suburb of Holland is held out by McCain as an example of an American who would be harmed by Obama’s tax proposals.

Public records requested by The Dispatch disclose that information on Wurzelbacher’s driver’s license or his sport-utility vehicle was pulled from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles database three times shortly after the debate.

Information on Wurzelbacher was accessed by accounts assigned to the office of Ohio Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Toledo Police Department.

It has not been determined who checked on Wurzelbacher, or why. Direct access to driver’s license and vehicle registration information from BMV computers is restricted to legitimate law enforcement and government business. (...)

Lois Andersen of Blue Lake is one of 187 participating artists. The mural comprises 238 panels, and Andersen was issued panel number 118.

”Each panel is pre-painted to reflect a tone or shape that corresponds to the completed and assembled mural design,” Andersen said. “The artists must paint accordingly to the shapes and colors on the panel but the subject matter is completely to their choosing. This is a difficult, creative and fun challenge to all the artists who participated.”

Andersen's panel, titled “King,” was inspired by one of the founding sires of the quarter horse breed.

The Hawaii Supreme Court has denied efforts by mainland political columnist Andy Martin to obtain a copy of Barack Obama’s original Hawaiian birth certificate. See the full ruling here: (pdf)

Martin, a self-described “legendary Chicago muckraker”, issued a press statement several days ago to announce that he is in Honolulu to “investigate” Obama’s background in Hawaii.

Part of his examination was to include obtaining a copy of Obama’s birth certificate, verifying that Obama was in fact born in Hawaii and not out of country. To be qualified to run for president, candidates must be born in America.

Obama has refused to release personal documents including his birth certificate, leading to suspicion among some voters that he’s covering up his true place of birth out of country.

There are three suits - Obama is fighting them all. Two have now ruled in his favor citing lack of standing on the part of the person asking for the release.

Not the way we see it — there’s something fascinating going on here, and it’s VERY bad news for Obama, the DNC, and the mainstream media. Obama should have BLOWN McCAIN AWAY in this Kids’ Poll — since, isn’t Obama’s whole selling point cruxed in his appeal to his “youth army”?

The Kids’ Poll is based on the assumption that children up to a certain age have no real opinions of their own and largely just parrot what their parents, teachers, and possibly older siblings say. Kids also take what they see on TV as gospel, and repeat what they hear celebrities say without thinking about their meaning.

In this year’s Kids’ Poll, Obama won 51%-49% - an anemic performance considering the various influences on children, and how they all skew naturally towards Obama. Thinking critically, he should have won this poll by 20-30% based on all the advantages he has over McCain with kids...

I expected that one to go the way of John Kerry, expected a BLOWOUT for Obama. This is incredible news. And I know a bunch of kids who didn't vote, but wanted to - for McCain.

The kids who are for McCain have learned to be quiet about it at school, but are overjoyed when they find each other. Surprisingly, there are more and more of them, even here!

And think about it. He could put his kids through college. He won't need Obama's indentured servant tuition tax plan. His kids won't be conscripted into the Peace Corp and ACORN activist groups. They can make their own choices. Go join the Peace Corp IF they want to. But not for some measly handout from Obama.

I'm disgusted that Obama has even gotten this far. I do not find him to be truthful.

I am EXTREMELY concerned about his activist ties and background. The depths of this has only just begun to be exposed.

The activists are leaders of a group called “Vote From Home ‘08.” The group is self-identified as having “extensive experience with political organizing, election administration, and Democratic politics.” They were hailed as the “Justice League” by a Daily Kos blogger. Vote from Home is a political organization that was founded by a team of young people for the purpose of assisting, aiding, and tracking voters to elect progressive candidates to the White House. Encouraged by the excitement of the 2008 elections and the movement around the Democratic candidates, Vote From Home will be in Ohio seeking to deliver 10,000 votes to Democratic candidates statewide.”...

You might want to amend what you said about FactCheck.org being well-respected (it's not non-partisan). Barack Obama and Bill Ayers (the unrepentent domestic terrorist and now an educator that had Obama pump millions of dollars into schools for the purpose of "radicalization") founded or were involved with the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.

While the original Annenberg (now dead) was a Republican, the fact that this site has special privileges to two of three different versions of a document that the DNC and Obama refuse to produce in a court of law is suspect.

You're also ignoring the Indonesian citizenship aspect to this story. He was using an Indonesian passport when he visited Pakistan at the age of 20 (which means he was an Indonesian citizen at the age of 20). This means that Lolo Soetoro adopted or acknowledged him. Indonesia does not recognize dual citizenships. Indonesia also didn't allow anyone but Indonesian citizens to attend schools in the country. Barack Obama was registered as "Barry Soetoro" at a school in Indonesia with his citizenship listed as such; thus proving his adoption or acknowledgement by Soetoro.

Obama is only admitting so far that he was born with a dual Kenyan citizenship.

There's also the fact that Obama's paternal grandmother, half-brother and half-sister claim to have been at the birth in Kenya. Stanley Ann Dunham was indeed in Kenya getting a divorce right before she gave birth. Airlines don't allow extremely pregnant women on planes.

The fact that you readily admit that FactCheck.org is part of the Annenberg Foundation should have raised red flags.

More than 100 former American ambassadors are endorsing John McCain and Sarah Palin for president and vice president.

To be announced by the McCain campaign later this week, the endorsements counter Barack Obama’s claims that McCain is inflexible when it comes to diplomacy and negotiations with other countries, Newsmax has learned.

Obama has specifically said that in contrast to McCain, he would sit down with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other world dictators to negotiate, without preconditions.

“Senator Obama does not have sufficient leadership experience, nor has he been tested in difficult times,” said Mark W. Erwin, a Democrat and former Hillary Clinton supporter who is a co-chairman of Former U.S. Ambassadors for McCain/Palin. Erwin was ambassador to the Republic of Mauritius.

Endorsing McCain are Howard Baker, who was ambassador to Japan; former President George H.W. Bush, who was ambassador to the United Nations; Frank C. Carlucci III, who was ambassador to Portugal; and Jim Nicholson, who was ambassador to the Vatican.

Others endorsing McCain are Bruce Gelb, former ambassador to Belgium; Margaret Heckler, who was ambassador to Ireland; John L. Loeb, Denmark; Ed Ney, Canada; and Julia Chang Bloch, Nepal.

Former Ambassador Gilbert A. Robinson spearheaded the formation of the group. Besides Erwin, the other co-chairman is former Ambassador to Sweden Gregory J. Newell. Both history and current events demonstrate that the socialist reality is always bad for the individual, and this is true whether one is looking at the painfully brutal socialism of the Nazis or the Soviets or the Chinese, with its wholesale slaughters, or at the soft socialism of England, in which people's lives are ever more tightly circumscribed, and the state incrementally destroys individual freedom. And that is why Obama's socialism matters.

Regardless of Obama’s presumed good intentions, socialism always brings a society to a bad ending. I don’t want to believe that Americans who live in a free society that allows people to think what they will, do what they want, and succeed if they can, will willingly hand themselves over to the socialist ideology. They must therefore be reminded, again and again and again, that socialism isn’t just another political party; it’s the death knell to freedom. Both parties are working with federal agents to investigate ACORN, which has been funded with upwards of $800,000 in questionable donations from the Obama campaign (in what appears to be the expressed and explicit direction to engineer voter fraud in the general election). The tactics being employed now in the 15 states currently under investigation are the VERY SAME TACTICS we saw on the ground in Iowa, Texas, Colorado, Nebraska, Indiana, and other states working for Hillary Clinton in the primaries.

And all of this ties back to Chicago.

Where the Obama campaign and DNC are now based....

Every story that is coming out has Obama giving money(earmarks) to people who donated to him... every story has unsavory links...

nothing is as it seems it seems.

He is fighting to block release of his BIRTH CERTIFICATE? His college records? His scholarly papers? Why?

A lawsuit has been filed with the Pennsylvania Eastern District Court requiring Mr. Obama to produce documents to prove he is constitutionally qualified to run for President. So far Mr. Obama has refused to produce the documents and is trying to fight the court order to produce the documents. Any American should be able to prove citizenship in less than a day. Why can't Mr. Obama?

I'd buy this explanation EXCEPT for the fact that there are so many OTHER documents Obama's not allowing to be released. I didn't like it when Hillary refused. Why would I like it any less when it is Obama. Such trivial things. College writings. College records. A Birth Certificate.

I might have ignored the 'asssociation' probelm, too, but again, they add up, Ayres, Wright, Rezko, Farrakhan, Chicago machine... Soros, and on and on and on.

I might have ignored the 'community organizer' title, too, if I hadn't been looking into just that kid of thing for the last 5 years, and found an extensive network of interrelated groups who are up to nothing I can count as good.

And with all the screaming and howling and jumping up and down over 'stolen elections' and 'voter fraud' we heard over the last election - even to the point of forcing new voting machines in our county - to find this ACORN thing in full operation is - the last straw.

I can hear the cries of - oh just let it pass, this one time...

But, NO. If in fact he is stonewalling the release of his birth certificate, it means he knows. It means he has known. And if that is the case, he should not have been in the race. There can be no exceptions made. That's not the way it works.

It's rather like someone driving without insurance on a revoked license, and they hit you - they shouldn't have been on the road at all. In the very first place!

Massive Voter Fraud

There's no other way to describe it.

1 VOTER, 72 REGISTRATIONS

CLEVELAND - A man at the center of a voter-registration scandal told The Post yesterday he was given cash and cigarettes by aggressive ACORN activists in exchange for registering an astonishing 72 times, in apparent violation of Ohio laws.

"Sometimes, they come up and bribe me with a cigarette, or they'll give me a dollar to sign up," said Freddie Johnson, 19, who filled out 72 separate voter-registration cards over an 18-month period at the behest of the left-leaning Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

"The ACORN people are everywhere, looking to sign people up. I tell them I am already registered. The girl said, 'You are?' I say, 'Yup,' and then they say, 'Can you just sign up again?' " he said.

Johnson used the same information on all of his registration cards, and officials say they usually catch and toss out duplicate registrations. But the practice sparks fear that some multiple registrants could provide different information and vote more than once by absentee ballot.

ACORN is under investigation in Ohio and at least eight other states - including Missouri, where the FBI said it's planning to look into potential voter fraud - for over-the-top efforts to get as many names as possible on the voter rolls regardless of whether a person is registered or eligible.

It's even under investigation in Bridgeport, Conn., for allegedly registering a 7-year-old girl to vote, according to the State Elections Enforcement Commission.

Meanwhile, a federal judge yesterday ordered Ohio's Secretary of State to verify the identity of newly registered voters by matching them with other government documents. The order was in response to a Republican lawsuit unrelated to the ACORN probe in Cuyahoga County, in which at least three people, including Johnson, have been subpoenaed.

Bribing citizens with gifts, property or anything of value is a fourth-degree felony in Ohio, punishable by up to 18 months in prison. And it's a fifth-degree felony - punishable by 12 months in jail - for a person to pay "compensation on a fee-per-registration" system when signing up someone to vote.
