◼ Occupy L.A.: 30 tons of debris left behind at City Hall tent city - LA Times
Sanitation officials said Wednesday that they expect to haul away 30 tons of debris from the Occupy L.A. encampment –- everything from clothing to heaps of garbage to oddball curiosities left behind by the protesters who lived at the City Hall tent city for two months.
Andrea Alarcon, president of the city Public Works board, said workers already have removed 25 tons of belongings from the City Hall park, all of it heading straight to a landfill....
Norman Schwartz, 76, a retired attorney from Calabasas... stopped by Wednesday afternoon to snap photos and suggested that the Occupy L.A. scene was a great lesson in democracy. He said he was sad to see the park so empty.
“There was no longer this wonderful thing going on,” he said. “It was just an empty, dirty park.”

Deer Season in Ohio ...
Well, it's that time of year again ... deer season is in full swing in Ohio. Our deer population has exploded in recent years, so they've added a few days to the season and increased the bag limits to try to get the population under control. It promises to be a good season this year. I've seen some really big bucks in the last few weeks. Our dogs are decked out in their safety orange, since they spend a lot of time in the woods ...

Good luck to all the hunters out there this year. Be safe and here's hoping that it doesn't rain on us all week!

It's a safe bet that in the several months they occupied Zuccotti Park and other public spaces, not one new idea was raised by Occupiers that would help arrest this driver of increasing income inequality
◼ Three inconvenient truths for Occupy Wall Street - Nick Schulz/LA Times
A third dynamic widening income disparities is in some ways the most inconvenient of all: the collapse of intact families. The explosion of out-of-wedlock births and of children living outside of two-parent households has widened economic disparities of all kinds, including income.
The reason is straightforward. The role that human and social capital plays in helping a person generate income in an advanced economy has increased over the last half a century. And over that same time, the primary institution for inculcating human and social capital has badly weakened.
Social scientists routinely find that individuals raised in intact families are generally better equipped to thrive in the economy. Today's 99% is teeming with tens of millions of Americans who were not raised in a stable home environment, and their earnings potential is compromised as a result.
The problem of family breakdown doesn't lend itself to easy fixes. And its cultural roots run quite deep at this point. But it's a safe bet that in the several months they occupied Zuccotti Park and other public spaces, not one new idea was raised by Occupiers that would help arrest this driver of increasing income inequality.
There IS something that DOES work, though. And whining and wasting time on the courthouse steps ain't it.

Outrageous .....
◼ Richmind Tea Party Audited in Retaliation for Complaining - STEVE SZKOTAK , Associated Press
"The Richmond Tea Party said an audit by the city is retaliation for the conservative group seeking refunds for rally permits and fees, arguing that Occupy Richmond activists have not been charged anything for the same activities.
The audit is outlined in a Nov. 14 letter by the city's Department of Finance. It states the group has not paid admissions, lodging or meals taxes collected by the city, so is now being audited.
The tea party said Monday it has never charged an admission or offered meals or lodging associated with its rallies."
It's time we face an inescapable fact ... evil forces are hard at work in America today, and we are teetering on the brink of political anarchy. Democrats are taking full advantage of blatant malfeasance and a total disregard for justice on the part of Eric Holder and the U.S. Justice Department, and attacking their political enemies with a fervor never before seen in America. They do this secure in the knowledge that the chances of Justice Department intervention are virtually nonexistent. The complete failure of our media to cover these stories, combined with the inexplicable failure of our Republican leaders to challenge these atrocities has emboldened the progressive left, and they are exploiting the situation for all it's worth. Left unchecked, the damage they could inflict on Conservative groups is inestimable.
It's one thing to use political bias and clout to discriminate against groups like the Tea Party with fees and permit requirements that other, left-leaning groups are exempt from, but when it progresses to vindictive "audits" and other financial attacks of this nature, that crosses a line that demands justice.
It's time for our Republican leaders to stand up and take action against this complete and utter abuse of power. If they continue to turn a blind eye to these atrocities and allow these miscarriages of justice to go unchallenged, they should be considered to be complicit in them and voted out of office in 2012 along with the rest of these traitors.

This August 5, 2011 visit to the president by MSNBC host Rachel Maddow and her party of 7... She made no mention of the visit on her Aug. 5 show. What did she and POTUS discuss? Just wondering…Chicken or egg - where'd the tired old Hoover Dam talking point come from? Lakoff? Maddow? Obama?
Fun fact: According to the White House logs, this was Maddow’s fifth trip to the White House — and fourth to see the president personally.

All around us we see businesses failing, people unemployed and families suffering. The cure for this is less taxation, less government and less regulation.
◼ To Be Taken With A Grain of Galt - Trevor Loudon
...Instead of concentrating on the word ‘fair,’ people should fixate on the term ‘freedom.’ Freedom to succeed or fail, freedom to live as you wish as long as you do not harm others, freedom to create and ascend. Instead, we have turned our faces towards the golden calf of government to take care of us. The only ones that take care of an individual should be himself and God, with family and community as support – not the State.
When this country began, everyone worked for himself. Mass employment (a form of servitude) was not widely implemented until the Industrial Age. Have we forgotten how to fend for ourselves? Have we forgotten the freedoms bestowed on us as Americans by God? The question of the day seems to be, ‘Who Is John Galt?’ As for me, I view all of the events of today in America to be taken with a grain of Galt. I’m getting ready as all of our economic sand castles begin to shift and fall. Are you ready to be free again?

The #Occupiers can stay, but the cat has to go
◼ A DOH spokeswoman said, “According to the New York City Health Code, live animals are not allowed in food-service establishments unless a patron needs a service dog.” - NY Post
But humans can live like animals in the park, even to the point of needing special women-only tents to protect from the rapes - and that gets praise from city officials.
That is to say - lawbreaking humans get compete exoneration, while law abiding humans get sacked for putting salt on their food. the government can tell YOU what you can and can't eat, or whether or not you can have a cat at your place of business for one reason, and one reason alone, you let them do it to you.
Take a lesson from the #Occupiers. They plan to refuse to pay their student loans and mortgages, why should you pay taxes?

The UC Davis pepper spray incident wasn’t an accident. The Occupiers wanted it. They needed it. They have been trying to make it happen.
◼ The Occupy losers are delighted; they finally got the footage they think will shift the focus off the almost unbelievable legacy of Occupier violence, sexual assaults and general degeneracy that has been so carefully documented by Big Government.
The Occupy movement is in a public relations freefall, and the outlines of the next phase in what is a classic Alinskyite propaganda operation are becoming clear. The problem for the Occupiers is that people are now seeing them for what they are, a movement composed entirely of weirdos, losers and mutations who worship at an altar of greed, laziness and bad hygiene – all served up with an utter lack of irony and self-awareness that drives away even those who might support aspects of the Occupiers’ inchoate ideology. Can they recapture the magic, with footage of the poor little pawns suffering the 'abuse' they went out and begged for?
Entire Computer Built Into USB Thumb Drive
◼ Is that a USB key in your pocket or a dual-core computer? - FOX
Norwegian company FXI Technologies showed off an amazing USB stick-sized portable computer prototype on Friday, Nov. 18. Code-named Cotton Candy because its 21 gram weight is the same as a bag of the confection, the tiny PC enables what its inventor calls "any-screen computing": the ability to turn any TV, laptop, phone, tablet, or set-top box into a dumb terminal for its Android-powered operating system....
When you plug the Cotton Candy into a Mac or PC, the Windows or OS X operating system recognizes it as a USB drive. You can then launch the software and run the Cotton Candy's Android environment in a secure window while you use your desktop OS outside the window. You can even transfer files between your notebook's native OS and the Cotton Candy's Android environment by dragging them off or on the USB stick's memory.
We watched as FXI CEO Borgar Ljosland popped the Cotton Candy into his MacBook Pro and, within seconds, had the device's Android OS running in a full screen window...
FXI hasn't set pricing yet for the Cotton Candy, but expects it to cost considerably less than $200 per unit. That's not bad for a full-fledged computing device the size of a cigarette lighter.

Two things
ONE - The #Occupy "movement"/campaign stunt finally has its dead victims. They didn't get their Kent State moment, but people are dead nonetheless. President Obama and his stormtrooper/goon pals should be held fully accountable. The blood is on their hands. Nice going, you divisive class warriors, Stephen Lerner, you and Michael Moore belong in jail.
TWO - The Mayors and Powers that be in the various municipalities have finally had enough. They're guilty of an unforgivable double-standard, holding responsible honest citizens (The Tea Party) to a whole different level of compliance and fees, and treated them with extreme disrespect (yes, you too, reporters) - and then allowed the animalistic #Occupy/campaign stunt free rein, with a wink and a nod. (Nancy Pelosi did not shed a tear, did she, no, not this time.)
And in this world where we are told we cannot do this, cannot do that, because of fear of liability - we can't have swingsets because someone might get hurt, can't do this that or the other thing because someone might slip and YOU the City, or County might be held liable, you have COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY INVALIDATED THIS. You have either acted extremely irresponsibly in allowing this madness to go on, where women are raped in the camps, drug abuse is rampant, filth and sewage is everywhere, people are dying in the tents on your property, and now you have shootings. Deaths, - Or - you have just shown that ALL of those concerns over liability can be tossed out. You don't mean it - and we can have swingsets again.
Reality has bitten. People have been killed. And you, in your complicity and cowardice, allowed this to go on. And in so doing, you have, as surely as the Eureka #Occupoopers, defecated on your good, honest, law-abiding citizens - the ones you are supposed to represent - and protect.
It's time for this hideous charade to end.

What Cain Should have Said at Presser
◼ Cain needed to take it to be press, and give them a public scolding for their double standards and hypocrisy in front of the whole nation - The Anchoress
If Cain was really nervy, he might even have said, “let’s just say, for the sake of argument, that I did make this crass pass that has been described, and that I accepted “no” as an answer — where does that put me on the sliding scale of intolerable behavior that the press has devised since Chappaquiddick and the Clinton presidency? Where does it put me compared to a Democrat congressman’s partner running an escort service out of their house? Where does it put me compared to the thorough raping of our national economy at the hands of politicians and bureaucrats who walked away from the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, with their careers intact and tens of millions of dollars in their back pockets?...
Cain needed to take it to be press, and give them a public scolding for their double standards and hypocrisy in front of the whole nation — “you’ll crucify a Republican president who got congressional approval to go to war, but look the other way when a Democrat skips getting approval; you savage a Republican candidate who did not go to an Ivy League college but cower before the idea of asking for transcripts from the Democrat; you’ll mock a Republican who mispronounces a word, or stumbles over a phrase, or misspells potato — things we all have done; things that you have done — but when a Democrat talks about visiting “all 57 states,” or apologizes for not speaking Austrian, his mistake is allowed to be the forgettable flub that it is. The forgettable flub that it always is, unless it comes from the lips of a Republican.” read her whole piece. It's great.

Rumors, facts, allegations and associations: Why won’t the agenda-driven media report on Barack Obama being gay, sexually harassing male actor Kal Penn, and frequenting Chicago bathhouse Man’s Country…you know, the way they leaped to trash Herman Cain with unsubstantiated sexual innuendo?
◼ Last week, the agenda-driven, drive-by media trashed Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain with unsubstantiated and poorly sourced sexual innuendo. - Hillbuzz
This week, let’s all talk about Democrat President Barack Obama being gay, him sexually harassing male actor Kal Penn, and his frequenting of Chicago gay bathhouse “Man’s Country” — using the Left’s established precedent for journalistic integrity when it comes to rumor and gossip.
Fair’s fair, right — in love, politics, and what’s apparently allowable in the 2012 election now that all-out war was declared on the black Republican presidential contender. Why shouldn’t conservatives treat Barack Obama the way the Left treated Herman Cain? If the operating assumption is that anything whispered about by anonymous sources is true about Herman Cain, then I guess everything people in Chicago have talked about for years related to Barack Obama being a closeted gay man into younger Pakistani guys must be true too, right?
...To the media, it’s true just because it was said about a Republican. Meanwhile, Democrats can always get away with murder. Just ask the Kennedy family about that.
Clearly, we saw this Leftist double-standard (or, non-standard, as the case may be) applied to the mystery woman Politico sourced as Herman Cain’s sexual harassment accuser last week.
So, why can’t we all talk about Barack Obama dating Hollywood actor Kal Penn during the 2008 presidential campaign, and Obama then inventing a strange, nebulous position for the actor in the early days of the Obama administration (just so Penn could abruptly leave his hit TV show and move to Washington to be close to Obama?). Apparently, since Penn then left the White House abruptly after just a few months of work (in a position that was created solely for him) the current President and his down-low boyfriend must have broken up.
Did Barack Obama sexually harass his subordinate, Kal Penn, in the brief time he worked in the Obama White House?...
Fair's fair, right?

The dogs are unleashed - The Anarchists finally show their face
The Black Anarchists have shown their face in Oakland. Kept in check until now - Obama's 'community organizers' were trying to fool people into thinking this #Occupation was filled with normal people, 'JUST like the Tea Party.' That they were able to keep them out of sight this long speaks volumes about the power behind this thing. ◼ link
A RESPONSIBLE President would cal for law and order, and condemn this #Occupation. A RESPONSIBLE Nancy Pelosi would be taking steps to PROTECT the residents and businesses, and City property in her State.
Same in NY.

◼ Acorn Officials Scrambling ... - FOX News
In a follow up to their recent story concerning ACORN's involvement in the OWS protests, FOX is reporting that ACORN is in full damage control mode now....
"Officials with the revamped ACORN office in New York -- operating as New York Communities for Change -- have fired staff, shredded reams of documents and told workers to blame disgruntled ex-employees for leaking information in an effort to explain away a FoxNews.com report last week on the group’s involvement in Occupy Wall Street protests, according to sources.
NYCC also is installing surveillance cameras and recording devices at its Brooklyn offices, removing or packing away supplies bearing the name ACORN and handing out photos of Fox News staff with a stern warning not to talk to the media, the sources said."
Congress did the right thing cutting the funding off to these criminals. It's just too bad we don't have a Department of Justice that's willing to do their job and prosecute them.
